Foundation Plan
Reflection
For Unit 13, the class strived to create a foundation plan for the Conner house. I used various strategies and techniques in order to complete the foundation plan. One sneaky and clever thing that I did in order to complete the foundation plan quickly was copy the wall sheathing and the wall stud from the floor plan and then paste it into the foundation viewing box. To answer the essential question will take several sentences. The features of the residential foundation plan are numerous and all equally important. A good foundation plan contains walls above, concrete walls and concrete piers, footings, beams and columns, and floor joist. I thoroughly enjoyed this unit. The biggest reason for enjoying this unit is that it was a whole new type of drawing for me. This unit has really opened my eyes to the numerous things and tasks that an architect must accomplish in order to fully design a building.
